Message From The East

To All Members of Granada Hills Lodge No. 378:

It’s already mid-summer and things are beginning to heat-up, so I hope you and your family and friends are all enjoying the great weather Granada Hills Lodge No. 378 will be DARK this month of August to give us rest from all the degree works and have the brethren and their families enjoy the summer of fun. The temple board’s Farmers Market project which started last July 16th was jam-packed with people from the neighborhood and
passersby. This project of the temple board is headed by no other than our past master, Worshipful Buddy Olbes. Let us give him a warm applause for a job well done! Kudos.

August 1st, 2010 at 5:00 PM will be the awarding ceremony of our Hiram Award recipient, Worshipful Buddy Olbes. I encourage all the members, Hiram Award Recipients and their families to support this event. As this is a non -tiled meeting, any member from the youngest entered apprentice ,fellow crafts to master masons and their guests may attend and witness
our brother receive the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a brother master mason.

The month of September will be the Annual Communication at the grand lodge and all master masons are invited to come and experience seeing the grand officers do their ceremonies and meet brethren from all over California and elsewhere. I would like to congratulate the 2011 team
headed by brother Raul Nadres for qualifying the officers in their respective chairs.

I am so proud of our next ensuing year officers for qualifying before the grand lodge session. Congratulations to each and every one of you. This makes Granada Hills Lodge No. 378 strong now and for the years to come. With the leadership of Brother Raul Nadres, I am so confident that the lodge is in good hand and strong in the next five years. With all your support, let us keep Granada Hills Lodge No. 378 stronger than ever. Let show to all the past masters of this lodge long before us that we will keep it alive and strong now and the next generations
to come.

I am confident to say as your Master of the lodge that Granada Hills Lodge No. 378 is in good hands.
